Company History

Valerie Jennings, CEO and president of Jennings Public Relations & Advertising, Inc. (JPRA), founded her company out of the bedroom of her home in June 2003. Today, the full service Kansas City-based agency, formerly known as Pure Eloquence, was never intended to be a place for corporate clients or even for those who were on the coasts, but as Jennings’ business grew so did her aspirations. She envisioned a boutique office in downtown Kansas City with staff, multiple clients in New York and Los Angeles and a drive to work with the best and brightest. She soon recognized her dream and vision was attainable and continued to discover new ways to reinvent her business day to day.

Jennings

Without taking a job for a traditional agency, Jennings paved her own way with her own experiences and expectations, setting high standards for employees and clients. Anyone who has worked with the entrepreneur knows that she commonly asks the question: what will this eventually do for your company and what matters most to you? Her track record in capturing media interests has been recognized globally and Jennings’ keen eye for detail and strategy led her to work for numerous political candidates, in multiple state legislatures and for city, state and federal governments. Now, she works alongside many corporate and small business clients locally and abroad. Jennings’ talents reside in her ability to see and tell stories like a photographer capturing the best moments and most alluring attributes of a story. She continues to be one of the top writers for her company.
